GETTING SUPPORT– EVEN IN AN AMBIGUOUS WORLD!

Wow. If you’re like most business leaders, you probably entered last year thinking you were prepared for the unknown.

We know better now—even if that means that all we know is things are far less certain than we once thought. And that ambiguity makes running a business more complex.

There are some good strategies for facing complexity and ambiguity (and they work in our personal lives, too). Thinks like:

  • Letting go of the idea that you can control things
  • Making choices on the information you have—instead of waiting until you know everything
  • Coming to terms with being wrong
  • Developing confidence in yourself and your abilities
  • Listening to your gut

Do those sound like nice concepts… for someone else?

It is important to get from concepts to concrete, effective actions.
